Techland just announced Dying Light 2 during the Xbox E3 press conference. The announcement trailer was followed by a gameplay trailer and you can watch both below.
The sequel's major hook is that "choices have genuine consequences," it's essentially a choose-your-own-adventure game. Techland claim that Dying Light 2 will be a "radically improved installment."
No release date has been announced yet, but when it does arrive it will be on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
