Radiohead's Thom Yorke Shares 'Suspiria' Soundtrack Single "Suspirium", Vinyl

It'll be hard to top Goblin's original score for Dario Argento's Suspiria, but Luca Guadagnino is taking an entirely different direction with the score for his remake by enlisting Radiohead's Thom Yorke to compose the score. This is the first time that Yorke is venturing into scoring a film and today, he released the first track from the soundtrack, titled "Suspirium". You can give it a listen below and let us know what you think in the comments!

“Thom, myself and my editor Walter Fasano spoke at length about a score that sounded in line with the sound of the times, 1970s Europe," Guadagnino told Deadline. "Thom really enjoyed working with electronic music and contemporary classical sounds, two different musical worlds. All the songs from Thom are originals for the movie.”

You can pre-order the soundtrack now on Limited Edition Pink Vinyl or Double CD. Releasing on October 26th.

In the Suspiria remake, "A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe's artistic director (Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist. Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up."

Suspiria stars Tilda Swinton, Dakota Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz, Mia Goth, and the actress from the original film, Jessica Harper.

Give your soul to the theater on November 2nd.
