Horror Film Festival FEARnyc Is Going Nationwide In 2019


FEARnyc showcases the best new horror films from all over the United States and from all corners of the globe in various horror subgenres, from slashers and creature features to sci-fi, the paranormal, and more. Next year the festival is taking things to the next level, for the first time ever, expand beyond NYC to include screenings and events throughout all 50 states!

The festival will also expand to a month-long event, with more than 100 screenings and events happening throughout the United States each day of the month of October 2019.

In addition to their usual slate of U.S. and world premiere film screenings and filmmaker Q&As, FEARnyc 2019 is planned to feature art installations, live theatrical presentations, haunted events in cemeteries and graveyards, concerts, horror-themed panel discussions, photography exhibits, virtual reality presentations, collaborations with local organizations, and many more diverse events in all 50 states.

FEARnyc is currently accepting submissions of feature films, short films, screenplays, documentaries, film scores, original songs composed for film, virtual reality presentations, film stills, music videos, art installations, theatrical events, stage plays and musicals, and unique live events including concerts, magic/illusion, poetry and short story readings, and other spooky things.
