One of the '80s earliest and greatest slasher films, Joseph Zito’s 1981 classic The Prowler is notoriously known for its gruesome practical effects work by Tom Savini and remains disturbing to this day.

Now, Waxwork Records is kicking off 2019 with Richard Einhorn's (Shock Waves, Don’t Go in the House) original soundtrack, a double LP release that is sure to satiate new and old fans of the film!

On sale this Friday and available for the very first time in any format, the complete film music is pressed on 180 gram Army Green Swirl with Red Rose Petal Splatter colored vinyl. Featuring stunning new art by Ghoulish Gary Pullin, exclusive liner notes by director Joseph Zito, and a heavyweight printed insert of Rosemary’s break-up letter.

Waxwork worked closely with the composer to research and locate the original master tape that were thought to be destroyed for decades. The tapes were then restored, transferred, and mixed. Mastered specifically for vinyl, the release also features liner notes by Einhorn.

Be sure to visit Waxwork Records this Friday, January 11th to purchase your copy!
