Assuming it doesn't get delayed again, Sony and Bend Studios’ open-world post-apocalyptic epic Days Gone will finally be released this April. Today, Sony have released the first of three videos showing of some of the game's world, as well as the pre-order bonuses and special editions for the game.
The video below shows of the beauty and danger you'll experience in the Farewell Wilderness, including zombies and infected and non infected wildlife. There will also be roaming gangs of humans willing to do anything to survive the harsh wilderness.
Those who pre-order Days Gone will receive some in-game items upon launch. These items include a Drifter Crossbow, which shoots farther, faster, and does more damage than some other weapons in the game, as well as various upgrades for your motorcycle. These upgrades include a Shroud upgrade that increases your bike’s defense against bullets and freakers, a Gas Tank upgrade that increases how much distance you can go on a full tank of gas, and a Nitrous upgrade that provides a quick burst of speed. Also, those who pre-order specifically from the PlayStation Store will receive a Days Gone Sawmill Dynamic Theme for their PS4.
The Digital Deluxe Edition of Days Gone includes a digital copy of the game, a digital copy of the soundtrack, a digital mini artbook by Dark Horse Comics, three skins for your bike, early access to the Monkey Wrench skill, and a Deacon Vs. The Horde Dynamic Theme for your PS4. The Collector’s Edition will contain everything from the Digital Deluxe Edition, as well as a mini statue of Deacon and his bike, a physical copy of the mini artbook, a physical soundtrack, six pins, four decals, a patch, and a physical copy of the game in a steelbook case.
Days Gone is now set for an April 26th release.
