Percussionist Chris Fehn Leaves Slipknot Following Lawsuit

Chris Fehn Leaves Slipknot

Due to the reports of a lawsuit in place, it is now official that percussionist Chris Fehn is no longer in Slipknot. The lawsuit is the result a dispute involving finances, with Fehn feeling he has been cheated out of earnings.

Frontman Corey Taylor says Slipknot are “wrongfully accused”.

Following the alleged lawsuit news, Taylor took to Twitter stating, “You’re gonna read a lot of bullshit today, This is all I’ll say. JUST YOU WAIT TIL THE TRUTH COMES OUT. Long Live The Knot.”

On the official website, the band have officially announced the split with Fehn:

“Slipknot’s focus is on making album #6, and our upcoming shows around the world, our best ever. Chris knows why he is no longer a part of Slipknot. We are disappointed that he chose to point fingers and manufacture claims, rather than doing what was necessary to continue to be a part of Slipknot. We would have preferred he not take the path that he has, but evolution in all things is a necessary part of this life.”

This summer's KNOT FEST is still continuing as planned with Volbeat, Behemoth, and Gojira!
