In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the original 1984 film, Sony Classical has announced a special reissue of the full Ghostbusters original score by Elmer Bernstein, arriving for the very first time on vinyl!
The special 2-LP release with slime green center features 4 never-before-released tracks and a note from the composer's son, Peter Bernstein included in a detailed 4-page booklet. The score will also be reissued on CD and digitally.
Peter Bernstein says of the 35th edition, “As one of the original orchestrators on Ghostbusters, it has been very satisfying and also very moving to work on this soundtrack release 35 years down the road. It is a great movie with great music and we had a whole lot of fun creating it. I am very pleased to see it released in its original form.”
