'Until Dawn' Developers' New Horror Game 'Man Of Medan' Sets August Release Date

Man of Medan Release Date Announced

Earlier this morning, Until Dawn developer Supermassive announced that their newest horror game Man of Medan will be released on August 30th. The game is now available for pre-order on Amazon for $29.99, with all pre-orders including early access to Curator’s Cut, which will end up being free later in 2019.

Check out the announcement trailer below.

Man of Medan is the first game in Supermassive’s "Dark Pictures Anthology," a series of stand-alone, cinematic horror games, designed to present a new terrifying experience on a regular basis. Each game is unconnected and will feature a brand new story, setting and new cast of characters.

The story of Man of Medan starts off on a dive boat in the South Pacific. With a rumored WWII wreck to find, and plenty of on-deck partying to be had, our group of 4 young Americans and their skipper Fliss get ready for what should be the trip of a lifetime…but it doesn’t go quite to plan. As the day unfolds, and a storm rolls in, they find themselves trapped on board a ghost ship. Subjected to unimaginable stress and terror, they must try to find a way to escape the ship and its sinister history.

Man of Medan will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
