Finnish goth rock veterans The 69 Eyes have released a teaser for the upcoming music video for their new single, "27 & Done", taken from the band's yet-to-be-named twelfth studio album, due in September via Nuclear Blast.
The below teaser for their vampire-themed "27 & Done" looks to be a total bloodbath, which is expected to be released any day now.
The band is no stranger to the vampire genre, having paid tribute with their classic hit "Lost Boys" off of their phenomenal Devils.
Vocalist Jyrki 69 told Capital Chaos about the new album: "I'm thinking it's probably the best record we've ever done. Even though that's our twelfth record, for Christ's sake, so it's nothing new for us."
According to Jyrki 69, he drew some of the lyrical inspiration for new album from the "fucked-up world" that we live in. "It's inspiring to live in this world — it's very inspiring for me to come up with some cool things for the album," he said. "But there's a safe dose of cult movies and cartoon rock and roll there as well, and horror movie references. So it's a 69 EYES album, but it's really fresh, very rocking, raw and powerful."
Earlier this month, The 69 Eyes embarked on their first U.S. tour in a decade.
