First 'Mortal Kombat 11' Kombat Pack Includes Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Sindel, And Spawn

Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack Shang Tsung

The first Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack has been revealed, with Shang Tsung at the forefront. Alongside the franchise's iconic sorcerer are Nightwolf, Sindel, Spawn, and two more secret characters. Shang Tsung will launch via early access for Kombat Pack buyers on June 18th, and will be available for everyone else a week later.

Of course, Spawn is easily the most exciting character announcement, the comic book character had been rumoured to be joining the game since it was announced that Todd McFarlane’s McFarlane Toys had acquired the license to create figures based on the title.

The Kombat Pack will also include character skin and gear sets for each downloadable content character, a bonus Johnny Cage Ninja Mime character skin and gear set, 18 bonus character skins for existing Mortal Kombat 11 characters, and one-week early access for all content (for those who have purchased it).

It's also worth nothing that Spawn will be voiced by Keith David (The Thing), who voiced Spawn in the animated HBO series! Additionally, Shang Tsung will once again be voiced by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, who played the shape-shifting sorcerer in the cult classic film.

Finally, Bruce Campbell, who previously denied involvement in the game, does a little teasing of his own over on Twitter. There's also a very peculiar chainsaw rev at the end of the announcement trailer, and since Leatherface has already joined the Kombatant roster (in MK X), there's only one other chainsaw-toting icon that we can think of...

Mortal Kombat 11 is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
