Microsoft served up a new Dying Light 2 trailer at its E3 press event today, along with the reveal that Square Enix and Techland are bring the game home for Spring 2020.
The trailer gives us our first glimpse of Aiden, an infected survivor, as he navigates the last great human settlement – The City. It’s been 15 years since the virus took over the world. Primal post-apocalyptic reality pushed humanity to the verge of extinction, as morals decayed, trust in authorities eroded and brutal factions fight for power and scant resources, while monstrosities born of the plague lurk in dark buildings ready to reclaim the streets after dusk.
Even in these Modern Dark Ages there is a spark of hope. Aiden’s exceptional parkour skills and brutal combat ability make him a valuable asset in the crumbling metropolis and a force capable of bringing change. Through Aiden, you will make impactful choices that will not only determine the fate of The City, but also uniquely shape the world around you. Tread carefully, as every decision counts.
Dying Light 2 will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
