During the Xbox E3 press conference, Microsoft finally revealed Gears of War 5 in a trippy new trailer, followed by a trailer announcing a new game mode titled "Escape". The game will be released on September 10th, but if you'd like to play it four days early you can do so by snagging the Ultimate Edition or signing up for the Xbox Game Pass.
It was also revealed that if you pre-order, you'll be able to play as the T-800 in a crossover with Terminator: Dark Fate! Players will additionally be able to play as Sarah Connor, with both characters tweaked slightly to make them stand out in multiplayer matches. Aesthetic customizations based on the film will also be included.
The Ultimate Edition of the game is now up for pre-order at GameStop, which will include the following:
