At last year's E3, Bethesda surprised fans with the announcement trailer for DOOM Eternal, the much-anticipated direct sequel to 2016's DOOM, and at this year's Bethesda showcase, the publisher not only revealed a new trailer and release date for the game, but also demonstrated the gameplay for the upcoming shooter!
The highlight includes a brand new game mode named Battle Mode, DOOM Eternal’s brand-new 2 versus 1 multiplayer experience that pits a fully-armed DOOM Slayer against two player-controlled demons, duking it out over three rounds of intense first-person combat.
In addition, those who pre-order DOOM Eternal will receive the "Rip and Tear Pack," which includes a Doot Revenant Skin for use in DOOM Eternal multiplayer, a "Cultist Base" Master Level, and a throwback Shotgun weapon skin.
A Deluxe Edition including a “Year One Pass” that includes two downloadable contents, "Demonic Slayer Skin" and the "Classic Weapons Sound Pack," will also be available.
Finally, an epic Collector’s Edition will include an exclusive SteelBook designed by Mondo, "The Gift of Argent Power" 11×17-inch lithograph, lore book by id Software, a wearable Doom Slayer helmet (!), and the digital content included with the Deluxe Edition.
