On the eve of Independence Day, the bubbles won’t stop. Obsidian, the premier dark alternative night in the region for the last two decades, will host its annual Foam Party on July 3rd. Resident DJs AudioFlesh (Glitch Mode Recordings), Darks Choir (The iNation), Havok (Broken Glass), and Widget (Broken Glass) are slated to spin during this summertime bash, and if their recent sets are any indication, the fracas in the foam will have quite the soundtrack behind it. If the Anniversary is our WrestleMania, the Foam Party is our SummerSlam, so come early and come ready to get suds’ed.
Attendees are encouraged to bring Ziploc bags to keep their valuables in, such as keys and wallets. Shoes are also encouraged (trust me, I wore open-toed shoes one year and fell on my ass multiple times throughout the night). Cover will be $10 across the board, rather than the usual cover for patrons under 21, so be mindful of that. For any other news on this and future events, follow The Ination on Facebook, and join the iNATION Wednesdays Facebook group.
Obsidian, known previously as IGUN and The iNation, occurs every Wednesday night at Liquid Bar, located at 238 N. Main Street in Bowling Green, OH, next to Howard’s and across from the Wood County Public Library. On typical Wednesday nights, there is no cover charge for patrons 21 and older, where those under 21 will see a $4 cover charge.
