'The Craft's Rachel True To Hold Special Tarot Readings At Salem Horror Fest 2019

Rachel True Tarot Readings Salem Horror Fest

This year's Salem Horror Fest is, without a doubt, one of the must-attend events for the Halloween season, with Cassandra Peterson returning, this time as Elvira, a 30th anniversary celebration of all things "Tales from the Crypt", and so much more!

Now, following the announcement of their "Fear of Invasion" programming, we've learned that The Craft's Rachel True will be in attendance and providing private tarot card readings for fans! Also, this year will mark the first Halloween season in Salem with legal marijuana.

"Salem Horror Fest will offer fans of both The Craft and Half-Baked the opportunity to have their fortunes told in a private tarot reading with Rachel True on Saturday, October 5th at Witch Dr., a glass blowing studio, gallery and retail shop in Salem, Massachusetts.

As a life-long tarot practitioner, True plans to release True Heart Tarot book and deck from Houghten Mifflin Harcourt Press. The collection will illuminate the energy of the major Arcana with essays and illustrations from her mixed black Jewish acting experience and mystical “chick” life in L.A."

"Tarot is a useful tool to connect our mind, body and spirit. When we connect with those, we are our true self," True said in a statement.

People can also meet Rachel True for photo opps, autographs and selfies at Haunted Harbor at Salem Horror Fest on Friday, October 4th and Sunday, October 6th at the Salem Waterfront Hotel. She can also be seen in Shudder’s documentary Horror Noire: A Black History of Horror screening at the Peabody Essex Museum on Saturday, October 5th.
