Released back in 1992, Mary Lambert's sequel to her classic 1989 adaptation of Stephen King's Pet Sematary was met with negative reviews from critics, but like many horror sequels, Pet Sematary Two has gone on to gain a substantial cult following, and we've now learned that the film's soundtrack is headed to vinyl for the first time!
Terror Vision Records have announced that they'll be releasing Mark Governor's Pet Sematary Two soundtrack on vinyl and cassette just in time for Halloween.
The release will feature audio pulled from original tapes and remastered by composer himself, liner notes by Governor, 7 bonus tracks, Stoughton gatefold packaging with 2 full-color inner sleeves, a mini “one-sheet” and album artwork by Earl Kess.
The vinyl release will be available in the following colorways:
180 Gram Black as night (LTD mail-order only)
180 Gram Clear Red w/ Yellow & Black Swirls (LTD mail-order only color)
180 Gram Pearlescent Copper w/ Red Swirls (retail variant)
180 Gram Hand-Poured wax (Terror Vision Subscribers only - join here to receive this and more)
A special bundle including the soundtrack on 2XLP, a t-shirt, and an enamel pin is also available.
