Popcorn Frights To Host 10th Anniversary Screening Of 'Drag Me To Hell' With Justin Long In

Drag Me To Hell Popcorn Frights 10th Anniversary

After directing the Spider-Man trilogy, Evil Dead creator Sam Raimi made his triumphant return to horror with Drag Me To Hell, which celebrated its 10th anniversary back in May.

Keeping the celebration alive, Popcorn Frights will be hosting a screening of the film next month as a part of their Saturday Night Screams series. Best of all, star Justin Long will be in attendance!

In the film, a loan officer who evicts an old woman from her home finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse. Desperate, she turns to a seer to try and save her soul, while evil forces work to push her to a breaking point.

Popcorn Frights hits the nail square on the head with this statement: "Stamped with Raimi’s manic blend of Looney Tunes chaos, gross-out gags, and electric photography, Drag Me To Hell is blockbuster horror done right."

Drag Me To Hell is easily one of the most effectively creepy, and equally humorous horror films of the last decade. One of my personal favorites!

The screening takes place on Saturday, November 9th at 10:15pm at the Savor Cinema in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
