The Ozzman Cometh Again With "Straight To Hell" Featuring Slash

Ozzy Osbourne Straight To Hell Slash

"I'll make you defecate" is not a line I typically expect to hear in a metal song, much less one by Ozzy Osbourne, but here we are. But if anyone can make such a fecally-centric line sound threatening, leave it to the Prince of Darkness.

This past Friday, Ozzy Osbourne released a new song, "Straight to Hell," from his upcoming album Ordinary Man, his first since 2010's Scream. Backed by producer Andrew Watt, bassist Duff McKagan (Guns n Roses, Duff McKagan's Loaded), and drummer Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and featuring a ripping guitar solo from Slash, the track is an imposing rocker. It's heavy, not the fuzzy kind of heavy like "Under the Graveyard" is, but the layered, balls-out kind of heavy.

Between this track and the last one, which has already logged several million streams on Spotify, Ordinary Man is looking to be an extraordinary release, and with a Marilyn Manson-supported tour this spring, 2020 could be the year of the Ozzman.

Listen to "Straight to Hell" below.
