It's ugly Christmas sweater season, and what better way to celebrate than by picking up a Blu-ray copy of Aaron Mento's Ugly Sweater Party (read our review) and having it signed by cast and crew?
Well, if you happen to be in the Burbank, California area on Friday, December 13th at 7pm, Dark Delicacies will be hosting a Blu-ray signing with much of the Ugly Sweater Party cast and crew in attendance. Those showing up are: Aaron Mento (Writer/Director), Charles Chudabala (Star/Producer), Sean Whalen (Star), Berna Roberts (Star), Gregory Blair (Star), and Roman Kovalik (Star/Composer), but more will be coming too, so you'll just have to show up and find out who!
Aslo, anybody who comes to the release party wearing an ugly sweater will be entered into a raffle to win Ugly Sweater Party movie/merch prizes!"
In the film, "For ten long years, the ghost of executed serial killer Declan Rains (Whalen) has been trapped inside of an ugly Christmas sweater, waiting to kill again! But when goody-goody Cliff (Chudabala) wears the haunted garment to an ugly sweater party, he is possessed by Declan and forced to murder the party guests. As the sweater’s grip becomes stronger, not even an aggressively horny bible thumper (Felissa Rose) can pull the sweater away from Cliff’s corrupted flesh. With each new victim, the blood-powered sweater transforms Cliff into something more unspeakable, and only Cliff’s wild best friend, Jody (Hunter Johnson) and a psychic rebel (Lara Jean) can stop the ugly sweater before it ruins Christmas…forever!"
The Blu-ray features a making-of documentary that's over an hour long and also has a commentary track. The documentary is called "Behind the Seams" and was produced by Hunter Johnson.
The new artwork (seen below) comes from artist Chris Barnes (not the former Cannibal Corpse frontman).
