Obsidian Closes Out the Decade with "Black Mass," Returns to Uptown

Obsidian Presents Black Mass Uptown Bowling Green

Take me to church.

Our friends at Obsidian, the dark alternative Wednesday night tradition in northwest Ohio, recently announced that they would be shifting from a weekly event to a monthly series. Beginning with Old Skool Night this past Thanksgiving Eve, the staple of the underground scene will put on a more concentrated effort once a month. As such, the second of such events has been announced, this one titled “Black Mass.”

From the event page on Facebook: “Join us at the hallowed ground that is Uptown for our final event of 2019, as we send off the year and the decade with our Black Mass. Our resident doombringers Hʌvok, Dj Darks Choir, AudioFlesh, and DJ Widget will bring the finest of industrial and dark alternative dance music for your vulgar delectation.”

No matter your religious affiliation, regardless of what holiday you may or may not celebrate this time of year, all will be welcomed at the Black Mass.

Uptown is located at 162 North Main Street in Bowling Green, OH. For the Black Mass, the darker the attire, the better. Cover is free for those 21 and older, while those 18-20 will see a $4 cover. For more information, follow the event on Facebook.
