Rammstein Formally Announces Dates and Locations North American Tour For Fall 2020

Leave it to Till Lindemann and his merry band of deviants to be a tease.

After the infrared map teasing a potential North American tour, Rammstein has formally laid out a ten-date run in the continent, beginning at the end of August. Rammstein knows no other way except lots of pyrotechnics and an elaborate stage show, and as such, these ten shows are stadium-sized.

The torch bearers of Neue Deutsche Härte have allegedly been using much of their self-titled seventh album live. Loudwire reports that of the disc’s eleven tracks, eight have been played live in their recent European tour, with singles “Deutschland” and “Radio” chief among them. If you haven’t heard the album yet, do so, apologize to the industrial metal gods, then read my review of it here.

Will the Massachusetts date leave “Bück dich,” a song and performance that once got the band arrested, off the setlist? Will the band reprise their middle finger to Russian anti-LGBTQ laws stateside? And just how much pyro is too much pyro? All this and more to be answered this fall.

Tickets for this limited run are set to be available this Friday, January 24th in all markets. No supporting acts have been indicated or named at this time. The tour will go as such:

Aug. 20 - Montreal, QC @ Parc Jean-Drapeau

Aug. 23 - Philadelphia, PA. @ Lincoln Financial Field

Aug. 27 - Washington D.C. @ FedExField

Aug. 30 - Minneapolis, MN @ U.S. Bank Stadium

Sept. 3 - Chicago, IL @ Soldier Field

Sept. 6 - Foxborough, MA. @ Gillette Stadium

Sept. 10 - East Rutherford, NJ @ Metlife Stadium

Sept. 16 - San Antonio, TX @ Alamodome

Sept. 19 - Los Angeles, CA @ Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

Sept. 27 - Mexico City, MX @ Foro Sol
