After blowing us all away last year with an unexpected reissue of Type O Negative's None More Negative, a 12xLP box set including the band's six Roadrunner studio albums on green and black mixed vinyl, Run Out Groove have now announced that they'll be giving the legendary Brooklyn-based goth/doom metaller's fifth studio album, World Coming Down, its first ever worldwide standalone release on vinyl!
Re-mastered for maximum fidelity, the 2xLP set will once again be pressed on 180g green and black mixed color vinyl (the only band-approved color) and comes in a tip-on style paper wrapped jacket with an exclusive poster.
This is limited to a one-time pressing of 7,500 copies worldwide and will be shipping by early April.
Released in 1999, World Coming Down featured a much darker, bleak tone than its predecessors, having been written after a series of deaths in frontman Peter Steele’s family. It was also their first album to reach the Top 40 on the Billboard 200 chart.
