A24 is Auctioning Props from 'The Lighthouse' and 'Midsommar' to Help Those Affected by COVID-19

A24 Auction Midsommar The Lighthouse Props

As most of you already know, New York has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, and to help the city out during this difficult time, New York-based company A24 has decided to auction of props from its most iconic films, including the horror films Hereditary, Midsommar and The Lighthouse.

All of the proceeds will be donated to a handful of NYC-based charities.

The company explains, "As a company founded and based in NYC, A24 wants to give back to the city as it weathers this crisis and begins to rebuild. 100% of each auction’s proceeds will be donated to one of four charities helping NYC’s hardest-hit communities and frontline workers: FDNY Foundation; Food Bank For NYC; NYC Health + Hospitals; and Queens Community House."

The first auction, the "A24 Attic Auction" went live earlier today and includes screen-used props from Eighth Grade, Euphoria, Mid 90s and Ari Aster’s Hereditary.

Props to be auctioned off in the future include the flower dress, bear headdress, Hårga mallet and 7 other props from Midsommar on April 27th, and 4 items from Robert Eggers' The Lighthouse, including the mermaid carving and lantern, will be auctioned on May 11th.
