German heavy metal legends Accept are on the verge of explosion, as their new album Too Mean to Die is due out in two months’ time, on January 15, 2021 via Nuclear Blast Records. Last month, we were paid a visit by “The Undertaker,” and now, as our second sampling of the record, Accept has given us the high-octane title track, in all of its classic metal glory.
“Too Mean to Die” the track is a fast-driving one, with a pedal to the metal attitude and the riffs to match. With solos and lead breaks drizzled throughout, this track is a shining example of how these impeccable Germans still have it some four decades plus later. Add to this the lyric video by Ingo Spörl, which sees scenes of fast cars, motorcycles, and hand to hand combat, and it’s hard not to get pumped up between what’s on-screen and what’s blasting through the speakers.
Too Mean to Die will release on January 15th, and pre-orders are available now here.
