Aesthetic Perfection Announce New Single "S E X" Coming in January, New Album Coming Soon

Daniel Graves of Aesthetic Perfection is a one-man music marketing machine. Between his work with his one-man project, his Close to Human Clothing fashion line, and his various projects within either, the man keeps himself busy. Recently, he released his Cellar Sessions EP, featuring the three special covers he recorded in his home in Austria earlier this fall. Now, the Austrian import from Los Angeles has called his shot for the coming year, and it’s a trick shot if ever I’ve seen one.

For each month of the year, Daniel is looking for ten new members of his Patreon, also known as the Imperfect Society. Each month in which this goal is accomplished, he will release a new single. If all goes according to plan, and this continues for all twelve months of the year, then the end of 2021 will see a new full-length album. If one month’s new subscriber count falls short of the goal of ten, then that month’s intended single will be pushed back a month, moving the goalpost back with it.

To start out this cycle, Graves has announced a new single, entitled “S E X,” to be released on Friday, January 8th, 2021. Fans of songs like “Gods and Gold” and “Rhythm + Control” will have much to celebrate and look forward to, as Graves has this to say about the new single:

“I am beyond excited to announce my new single “S E X” which drops worldwide on January 8th, 2021. Featuring guitars by Sebastian Svalland (PAIN, In Mourning & formerly LINDEMANN) this new song continues in the industrial metal tradition of tracks like Rhythm + Control while expanding on my ever broadening vocal and production horizons.

This is the first installment of my 12 singles in 12 months project that is being fully funded by my Patreon supporters. Each single is unlocked every time our community gains 10 new members, and, hopefully, will result in a full-length album at the end of the year. To join our community, help unlock future singles and ensure another Aesthetic Perfection LP, visit www.imperfect-society.net.”

In addition to the album version, the single will have a B-side featuring a remix of the song by our favorite industrial bass cultist, Moris Blak. And if that prospect doesn’t excite you, you might want to check your pulse.

Hopefully, by this time next year, we’ll have a new Aesthetic Perfection full-length, the follow up to 2019’s Into the Black, to look forward to. In the meantime, “S E X” can be pre-ordered here. Aesthetic Perfection has also recently released the Empirion remixes of “No Boys Allowed,” which originally featured on Into the Black, and those remixes can be found here.
