Aesthetic Perfection Ring In Spooky Season With Cover of Ramones' "Pet Sematary"

Spooky scary skeletons send shivers down… oh fuck, wrong song.

After the wide variety provided by their Cellar Sessions, industrial pop perpetrators Aesthetic Perfection have given us a great way to ring in the real most wonderful time of the year. Daniel Graves, the man behind the machine, has covered the Ramones classic “Pet Sematary,” used on the soundtrack for the 1992 film, which was based on the 1983 Stephen King novel. Using an echoing snare and a choral-infused synth, the song is given new life, even if the singer doesn’t want to live their life again.

Says Graves about the project:

Halloween is fast approaching, and to celebrate, we’ve got a devilish surprise in store for all of you! We’ve channeled our demons and conjured up a ghastly rendition of the classic Ramones track “Pet Sematary”. We’ve tossed it all into the witches brew: pounding drums, spooky synths and rounded it off with ghoulish crooning. It’s a potent potion of palpable terror.
