Terrortron, Voyag3r and Chris Alexander are among the few musicians/groups that can create vivid cinematic worlds with their music alone, and the latter of that bunch, Mr. Alexander himself, has just revealed that his fourth studio album, Body Double, is headed our way this June!
The album is described as "a nine-track collection of dark, neo-industrial, ambient/electronic analog synthwave rock" that features "heavy, dirty and atmospheric giallo music for dark nights and black gloved killers."
Body Double features percussion work by Toronto drummer David Bertrand, who also functions as the other half of Alexander's touring band. All other instruments - synth, guitar, bass - were done by Chris Alexander. The album is produced by Alexander.
In addition to the album's giallo-inspired cover art and design by Eric Adrian Lee, the first single was also revealed, titled "Shock Waves."
Alexander describes the track as "a pumping doom-synth death-disco rock anthem for Satanic dance floors."
The limited edition digipak CD is on pre-sale now at Alexander's store. A limited vinyl and digital download will follow later this year.
