Chris Alexander Shock Waves Music Video

With his fourth studio album, Body Double, now up for pre-order and slated to begin shipping in July 2020, the multi-talented Chris Alexander has given CryptTeaze the pleasure of exclusively premiering the official music video for the album's first single, "Shock Waves."

Featuring clips from Cameron Mitchell's Nightmare in Wax and the 1947 experimental film Dreams That Money Can Buy, Alexander previously described the track as "a pumping doom-synth death-disco rock anthem for Satanic dance floors."

The video was produced and edited by Phil Pattison for Rabidog Films from a concept by Alexander.

Watch the official video for "Shock Waves" and learn more about Body Double below!

Body Double is described as "a nine-track collection of dark, neo-industrial, ambient/electronic analog synthwave rock" that features "heavy, dirty and atmospheric giallo music for dark nights and black gloved killers."

The album features percussion work by Toronto drummer David Bertrand, who also functions as the other half of Alexander's touring band. All other instruments - synth, guitar, bass - were done by Chris Alexander. The album is produced by Alexander.

The limited edition digipak CD is on pre-sale now from Chris Alexander's webstore. A limited vinyl and digital download will follow later this year.
