Controversial "Adults Only" Shooter 'Hatred' Coming to Nintendo Switch

Hatred Game Nintendo Switch

To the surprise of many, Destructive Creations, the developer behind the recent survival horror game Daymare 1998 have announced that their "Adults Only"-rated shooter Hatred, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch!

For those who can remember, the 2015 twin-stick shooter was originally released on Steam and garnered quite a bit of infamy online due to its ultra-violent content. Some people even went as far as to call it a "murder simulator".

Hatred sees you taking on the role of The Antagonist, who's disgusted with all of humanity and decides to go on a killing spree in New York City.

Since Nintendo, or home consoles in general, typically don't allow AO games on their platforms, it's quite possible the game will be censored for this release, much like Manhunt 2 for the Wii.

However, the Switch is no stranger to Mature-rated games, with titles like Doom, Mortal Kombat 11, Friday the 13th: The Game and Agony, but AO games are certainly a rarity.

The game currently doesn't have a release date or price point, but those are expected to be revealed soon. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
