Danny Blu Announces Remix Album 'The Pale Horse: Pandemonium'

Six months out, I still find myself jamming the shit outta Danny Blu’s first solo EP, The Pale Horse (review). The dark pop bangers that the Echo Black singer put out on his first outing were shimmering, sinful, and too queer to function in the best ways. Now, Blu is giving us a companion remix album dubbed Pandemonium, featuring a few familiar mixes from some very familiar producers. It is set to be released on April 9th.

The lineup of artists on this record is a killers’ row of modern dark pop and industrial, from Black Nail Cabaret to Ashbury Heights, from DK-Zero to Grendel, from KANGA to Matt Hart, and more. Thus far, in the months before and after the release of The Pale Horse, we’ve seen five remixes of the twelve on Pandemonium, including KANGA (White (K)night), Moris Blak (Sanctuary), The Anix (Sanctuary), DK-Zero (Love Me Bad), and Mr.Kitty (Bubble).

The full track listing is as follows:

1. Bubble (Mr.Kitty Remix)

2. Paradise City (Ashbury Heights Remix)

3. White (K)night (KANGA Remix)

4. Burn (Black Nail Cabaret Remix)

5. Love Me Bad (Matt Hart Remix)

6. Sanctuary (The Anix Remix)

7. Paradise City (Walter Kazmier Remix)

8. Burn (Grendel Remix)

9. Bubble (Imperative Reaction Remix)

10. Love Me Bad (DK-Zero Remix)

11. White (K)night (Fragrance Remix)

12. Sanctuary (Moris Blak Remix)
