Danny Blu's "Love Me Bad" Gets Rocking Remix from DK-Zero

Danny Blu struck a chord with his solo EP The Pale Horse earlier this fall, with its celebrations of love, uniqueness, and darkness. Adding to this, several of the tracks from said EP have received the remix treatment, from Moris Blak revamping “Sanctuary” to KANGA riding in as her own “White (K)night,” the remixes of Blu’s tracks compliment the original mixes better than most. This has left many wondering who would step up next to give a track from the Echo Black singer a new coat of paint.

DK-Zero have faced the challenge head-on, and the result is a hard rock and industrial take on what can only be described as the sex song of the record, “Love Me Bad.” Adding in guitars and drums for a sound more closely associated with Blu’s band project, the remix is heavy-handed and, as Blu’s lyrics would indicate, likes it rough. It’s night and day between the album and remix versions, but since when is that a bad thing?

The Pale Horse is available now. See the link above for our review.
