Between two Monsters of Industrial Bass events, the collective known as EBM Worldwide has raised over $2,000 for various charities, most recently the Black Trans Femmes in the Arts (BTFA). Recently, on March 31st, we celebrated Transgender Day of Visibility, and in this spirit, EBM Worldwide has opted to host one of its now-signature Twitch raid events to draw visibility to a number of transgender DJs in the industrial/EBM genre.
“Trans(cendance): DJ Spotlight For Trans Visibility” will happen this Friday, April 9th, beginning at 8pm EDT, and run until 2am EDT. A total of six transgender DJs will play the event, with rotations happening every hour. Much like the Monsters of Industrial Bass events, the event will be a raid-style show, meaning viewers will be automatically taken over from one DJ’s channel to the next with each rotation, without having to hunt for the URL or username of the next act. Hop on the stream, take in some great dark alternative music, and become aware of some of the best and brightest in the game today.
