Exhumed Films Hosting 35mm Screening of 'Hellraiser' This Week at The Mahoning Drive-In Theater

Exhumed Films have such sights to show you!

Just last week, we told you that Exhumed Films would be bringing director Tony Randel’s personal 35mm print of Hellbound: Hellraiser II to select theaters nationwide, but first, Clive Barker's original classic Hellraiser will be taking over The Mahoning Drive-In Theater for this week's Tunnel Vision Tuesday screening.

Attendees will be treated to Barker’s bloody, unnerving 1987 horror masterpiece in 35mm for the first time on the giant drive-in screen!

"It would be a waste of good suffering if you missed it! Join us on Tuesday night," Exhumed Films announced. "We’ll have the new 2022 Tunnel Vision Tuesday tees at the Exhumed Films table, along with a huge selection of Blu-rays from DiabolikDVD.com, and a special event item available that you are going to love! Get to the show early!"

Gates open at 6pm, with showtime beginning at sundown. General admission tickets are $8 per person. You can also purchase a ticket plus an overnight camping pass for $16 per person. Your suffering will be legendary if you miss it. Grab your tickets today!

Each Tuesday night, Exhumed Films digs deep into their vaults for a mind-blowing single feature, with an extended deep-dish trailer reel, all on 35mm. From genre classics to rarely screened cult gems, fill your Tuesday nights with a cinematic whirlwind of holy grail 35mm screenings!

Based upon the novella The Hellbound Heart by Clive Barker, Hellraiser tells the story of sexual deviant Frank (Sean Chapman), who inadvertently opens a portal to hell when he tinkers with a box he bought while abroad. The act unleashes gruesome beings called Cenobites (lead by Doug Bradley's Pinhead), who tear Frank's body apart. When Frank's brother (Andrew Robinson) and his wife, Julia (Clare Higgins), move into Frank's old house, they accidentally bring what is left of Frank back to life. Frank then convinces Julia, his one-time lover, to lure men back to the house so he can use their blood to reconstruct himself.
