KANGA Remixes Danny Blu's "White (K)night"

KANGA Danny Blu White Knight Remix

Though his band may be called Echo Black, singer Danny Blu has quite the solo career going for himself, reviving his solo work with singles such as “Burn” and “Sanctuary.” Earlier this year, his song “White (K)night” tackled Blu’s struggles with anxiety, as he looks to erase social stigmas and open up the difficult conversations surrounding topics such as mental health and the LGBTQ+ community.

As a way to cap off Pride Month (or Wrath Month, given the state of affairs), Blu has released a hypnotic remix of “White (K)night,” done up by newly-signed Artoffact artist KANGA. The producer, who herself reissued her Eternal Daughter EP earlier this year, lends her vocals and her soundscape-building prowess to what was already a dreamlike song.

What she describes as an “industrial duet” that she hopes will “bring life to your domestic dance floor” is a marked improvement on an already stellar song, and has some, myself included, that KANGA can do no wrong.
