Given current events, the phrase “going viral” has taken on a whole new meaning. In Kilyo’s newest track of the same name, the singer and concept artist capitalizes on this fact, doing so with his hypnotic vocals and deep production values. The song is of two minds, one of a swaying melody, the other of a vogue-ready instrumental break with siren-like synth work. In switching between these two modes, Kilyo makes the most of this track.
The song is Kilyo’s first new track since his 2016 debut LP, Harpoon. Between this and his film work with Bea Brat, Kilyo looks poised to make the most of this new normal we live in.
