Moris Blak Remixes Heartlay's "Bloodright (No Way to Hide)" Into a Bass Metal Monster

He did it again, y’all. Industrial bass architect Moris Blak has released another stellar remix, ahead of part one of his Irregular Revisions double album. Singing the praises of the helmeted hellraiser feels a bit overindulgent at this point, but with the quality of work he’s been putting out, can you really blame us?

This latest reworking uses the Heartlay track “Bloodright (No Way to Hide),” taken from the industrial rock act’s 2019 album Attack & Agony. The original cut is driven by guitars and a simple vocal melody, with some having compared this track to songs used in the Devil May Cry franchise. While Blak’s remix is predictably heavy, there’s far more fuzzy bass goodness to be had, turning this full-throttle track into a stomping machine groove. There is less of a six-string presence here, but it’s a pulsating monster regardless.

Friendly reminder that Irregular Revisions Vol. 1 comes out this "Blak Friday," November 27th via Negative Gain. In the meantime, stream Blak’s remix of Heartlay’s “Bloodright (No Way to Hide)” below:
