Originally scheduled to release on July 23rd for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, Crytek's Crysis Remastered was recently delayed on every platform except for Nintendo's magnificent little hybrid console.
With the game releasing on the Switch in just a few short days, Crytek has released a new trailer that showcases the Switch version's technical abilities.
The trailer features gameplay footage capture at 720p and 30fps, and highlights high-quality textures, global illumination , vegetation bending, optimized dynamic light settings, dynamic resolution, gyro aiming, motion blur, bloom (light rays and sunbeams), Switch-exclusive gyro aiming and much more. Honestly, it looks a lot better than one might expect!
Crytek has yet to reveal when the game will hit the other consoles and PC, but we'll be sure to keep you posted when a release date is announced.
