Panic Fest Announces Virtual 'Tricks and Treats' Halloween Celebration

Halloween may be "cancelled" this year but that doesn't mean the fun has to end, and Panic Fest co-founders Adam Roberts and Tim KC Canton seem to agree, as they've announced a weekend full of spooky films and virtual events that will make your spine tingle with delight and terror.

The virtual Tricks and Treats Halloween weekend celebration runs October 30th thru November 1st.

"Even though this Halloween turned out to be more gnarly than Regan projectile vomiting green pea soup - that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate the best time of the year together! Panic Fest won’t let Halloween die," Roberts and Canton said in a statement. "Every year we look forward to these traditions but with the pandemic they are in real jeopardy of not existing this year. Fear not, Panic Fest is here to satisfy your horror appetite."

The three day event features new and classic films, shorts, live events including horror themed trivia, live podcasts, special guests and more. Hell, there will even be a "Best in Show" style pumpkin carving contest.

Best of all, this is a great way to bring the horror community together during a very dark time and throughout Halloween weekend.

So, grab your costume and bowl of candy and join Panic Fest for a jam packed weekend celebrating the best time of year. Tickets are now on sale with full programming coming in October.

Feature and short film submissions are also still open.

Panic Fest is scheduled to return on January 29th to February 4th 2021.
