When the curtain goes up the terror begins!
Hot on the heels of their one-night-only screening of Tom Holland's vampire classic Fright Night, Popcorn Frights has announced that their next Friday Night Frights event will feature a double dose of George A. Romero's horror anthology classic Creepshow and its 1987 sequel Creepshow 2!
"Let the master of horror Stephen King scare the hell out of you at Popcorn Frights' special double bill celebrating the 40th anniversary of George A. Romero's seminal '80s horror anthology Creepshow and its riveting sequel Creepshow 2 for its 35th anniversary on Friday, July 15th at 8pm and 10pm at Savor Cinema! It’s the most fun you’ll ever have being scared!"
Individual tickets are available for Creepshow and Creepshow 2, priced at $10 each, or you can double your pleasure and enjoy a double bill ticket ($15) for both film events... the choice is yours!
The Friday Night Frights one-night-only event at the Savor Cinema in Fort Lauderdale, FL will also feature The Crepstick food truck on location from 7:00pm to 10:30pm, serving sweet and savory delights, including the event exclusive "Creepshow Crepe."
In Creepshow, "Masters of the macabre — writer Stephen King and director George A. Romero — conjure up five shocking yarns, each a virtuoso exercise in the ghouls-and-gags style of classic '50s horror comics."
