After bringing Resident Evil 2 to the world of tabletop gaming back in 2018, Steamforged Games has now announced a Kickstarter campaign for a board game inspired by its sequel, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
The campaign for Resident Evil 3: The Board Game is scheduled to launch on April 28th and will bring back the same team responsible for Resident Evil 2: The Board Game.
Based on the original 1999 PlayStation video game (not the recently released remake), Resident Evil 3: The Board Game is a cooperative survival horror game for 1-4 players that can be experienced either through individual, one-shot scenarios, or as a 19+ hour campaign with an overarching storyline.
The game will allow players to take control of iconic characters like Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira while attempting to escape Raccoon City in the midst of a T-virus outbreak. Of course, it will also have players running from Nemesis like it's 1999 all over again!
Fans can follow the campaign on Kickstarter to be notified when it goes live. If the campaign reaches 2,500 followers on Kickstarter before it launches on April 28th, a Kickstarter-exclusive "Jill in Biker Gear" miniature will be unlocked!
