Salem Horror Fest Announces Free "Mother's Day Massacre" Virtual Event

Salem Horror Fest Mother's Day Massacre

After unfortunately being forced to cancel their "Women with Guts" weekend due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Salem Horror Fest has instead begun to offer digital content such as video on demand titles, virtual premieres and panels.

This month, Salem Horror Fest will present Mother's Day Massacre, a live program featuring Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, The Wasp Woman, a three hour block of horror shorts and Mothers of Horror panel discussion with Jessica Locke, Rebekah McKendry, Jennifer Trudrung, and Sady Doyle, author of Dead Blondes and Bad Mothers: Monstrosity, Patriarchy, and the Fear of Female Power.

"What is more frightening? Not being able to visit your mom in lockdown or getting trapped in the same house with her for months on end? Salem Horror Fest has curated a special live program of maternal horror so wicked even a mother could love."

"Mother's Day Massacre" is a free, all-day virtual event streaming on Facebook Live on Sunday, May 10th starting at 10:00 AM EST. RSVP today!
