'The House of the Dead: Remake' Reveals "Limidead Edition" for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One


Physical media collectors rejoice! Forever Entertainment and Microids have announced a new "Limidead Edition" release of their upcoming The House of the Dead: Remake, which arrives later this year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version received a similar treatment last month.


The "Limidead Edition" includes a physical copy of the game, an exclusive box with lenticular, two character stands and a sticker sheet. A release date and purchase information have yet to be revealed.


Developed by MegaPixel Studio, The House of the Dead: Remake offers players around the world the joy to discover or rediscover this timeless arcade classic from SEGA!


Play solo or with a friend and shoot hordes of undead and nightmare creatures in this fantastically gory and shameless arcade shooter, now featuring upgraded graphics, audio and new game modes.


In the game, "Renowned biochemist and geneticist, Dr Roy Curien is obsessed by his lifetime project of discovering the nature of life and death. When he finally succeeds, it’s time for his former colleague Sophie Richards to ask for the help of her friends at AMS; Thomas Rogan and agent G. Their mission is simple, end the doctor’s macabre project and save all the employees of the lab."


The House of the Dead: Remake is currently available digitally on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam and Google Stadia.
