[Trailer] Emma Roberts Moves into an 'Abandoned' Farmhouse with a Sinister Past

Vertical Entertainment has debuted the trailer for their new horror film Abandoned, in which Emma Roberts and John Gallagher Jr. have their lives turned upside down after moving into a remote farmhouse with a sinister past.

Abandoned opens in theaters on June 17th, followed by On Demand and Digital on June 24th.

The films follows the sharply intense lives of Sara (Roberts), her husband Alex (Gallagher Jr.), and their infant son as they move into a remote farmhouse, which harbors a dark, tragic history. As their home’s past is revealed, the mother’s fragility escalates to a state of psychosis that jeopardizes her own safety and that of her newborn son.

Directed by Spencer Squire, who makes his feature debut, Abandoned also stars Michael Shannon (The Shape of Water, Nocturnal Animals) and Paul Schneider ("Channel Zero: Candle Cove").

Squire co-wrote the film with Erik Patterson ("R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour") and Jessica Scott (Deep Blue Sea 2).
