Rumors have been swirling around the web on this topic for years now. I know we would all love to see the Firefly gang return to the screen but with their demise at the end of The Devil's Reject's, it doesn't seem possible.
However, according to Brad Miska at Bloody Disgusting, it is. Today he announced on their site that they've "exclusively confirmed" Rob Zombie IS working on a follow-up to The Devil's Rejects and that it will feature Sid Haig returning as Captain Spaulding, Sherri Moon as Baby and Bill Moseley as Otis!
Rob Zombie has asked social media quite a few times now if we'd like another film in the House of 1000 Corpses/Devil's Rejects universe and the response has always been overwhelmingly positive.
Bloody Disgusting seemed pretty confident in this news and their source so I'm very happy to report on this. I consider the aforementioned two films to be masterpiece's and Zombie's best work. I definitely look forward to seeing what he can do with the follow-up!
