One of my favorite episodes from Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2 is episode 8, "Ashy Slashy". The episode introduces the puppet of the same name which is basically the Deadite puppet version of Evil Ash. Many laughs ensue in the scenes featuring the obnoxious and rude puppet. Cutting to the chase here, I remember thinking while watching this episode, "how cool it would be to own a replica of the "Ashy Slashy" puppet." Now, thanks to NECA, this is a more likely possibility!
Just about a full year after the initial tease of their replica puppet, NECA showed off the final packaging art today, revealing that the long-awaited collectible is “almost here.”
You can pre-order the puppet now from many major toy stores for the price of $49.99. It is set to start shipping in January 2018.
