Yes, you read that correctly. Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, the book that haunted your nightmares as a child, is getting its own big screen adaptation! Director Andre Ovredal will helm the film. Ovredal also directed The Autopsy of Jane Doe and Troll Hunter, both great films. Which makes me look forward to this one even more!
Ovredal will also produce with Sean Daniel, Jason Brown and Elizabeth Grave. The script was written by Kevin Hagerman and Dan Hagerman, who based it off of the book series. Production begins next year!
