In a little over two weeks, on Friday, January 12th, Retro Picture Show and Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington, New York will host a double feature of Argento's Suspiria and Inferno! Both on 35mm, with Suspiria's being the new uncut Italian version.

Artist Marc Schoenbach of Sadist Art Designs has created a fantastic piece of art specifically for this event. Based on Suspiria's original teaser, the artwork is available for purchase as a poster or on a shirt from Gutter Garbs!

Dario Argento’s SUSPIRIA

Considered by many to be one of the most terrifying and stylized horror films of our time, SUSPIRIA is a sure-bet to keep you glued to the edge of your seat with all the lights on.

Jessica Harper stars as Susy Banyon, an American student who has enrolled in a German dance academy. In the very night she arrives, two of the students are brutally murdered in a scene likened to the shower murder in PSYCHO. It soon becomes apparent that this is only the beginning of what is perhaps the most terrifying nightmare ever created on film. (Italy, 98 mins, Dir. Dario Argento, 35mm)

Dario Argento’s INFERNO [Description from back of VHS] A young woman stumbles upon a mysterious diary that reveals the secrets of "The Three Mothers" and unleashes a nightmare world of demonic evil. As the unstoppable horror spreads from Rome to New York City, this unholy trinity must be stopped before the world is submerged in the blood of the innocent. Written and directed by Dario Argento, Inferno is considered to be the sequel to Suspiria. This surreal shocker stars Irene Miracle, Daria Nicolodi and Leigh McCloskey and features a pulse-pounding original score by Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake & Palmer. (Italy, 106 mins, Dir. Dario Argento, 35mm)
