[Trailer] From The Director Of 'Frontier(s)' Comes 'Cold Skin'

What happens when you mix The Shape of Water with The Descent? We think the result would be something along the lines of Xavier Gens' new creature feature, Cold Skin. If that combo intrigues you or if you're a fan of the extreme French film, Frontier(s), you should give the trailer below a watch!

Synopsis:

Cold Skin takes place on the edge of the Antarctic Circle, in the years after World War I, a steamship approaches a desolate island far from all shipping lanes. On board is a young man, on his way to assume the lonely post of weather observer, to live in solitude for a year at the end of the world. But on shore, he finds no trace of the man whom he has been sent to replace, just a deranged castaway who has witnessed a horror he refuses to name. The rest is forest, a deserted cabin, rocks, silence, and the surrounding sea. And then the night begins to fall…

Cold Skin is directed by French director Xavier Gens, best known for his French gorefest that is Frontier(s). The film is written by Jesús Olmo and Eron Sheean and stars Ray Stevenson, David Oakes, and Aura Garrido.

There's no release date for Cold Skin as of now it but will soon screen at the Glasgow Film Festival this March. We will keep you updated on details as they become available!
