Synopsis: Mr. Simms is Keith David, who will be presenting four horrific stories of lust, greed, pride and politics through tales with demonic dolls, possessed psychics, vengeful vixens and historical ghosts. Mr. Simms’s haunting stories will make you laugh… while you scream. TALES FROM THE HOOD 2 is squarely in the tradition of outrageous, entertaining anthology horror, but it also addresses serious issues with a forceful point of view, just as folklore has done throughout history.
Tales from the Hood 2 reunites executive producer Spike Lee and writers/directors/producers Rusty Cundieff and Darin Scott for four new terrifying and darkly comical short tales that follow in the original film’s footsteps.
Tales from the Hood 2 will be arriving on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and On Demand on October 2, 2018, from Universal 1440 Entertainment and will World Premiere at Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal, Quebec on Friday, July 13th.
