"The Terror" is one of the most unique and riveting shows on TV at the moment and today we've learned that the complete first season will be arriving on Blu-ray and DVD on August 21st from Lionsgate.
The series will return in 2019 with 10 episodes that will take place on the west coast of the United States during World War II, and according to the press release, "center on an uncanny specter that menaces a Japanese-American community from its home in Southern California to the internment camps to the war in the Pacific".
Synopsis: "Inspired by a true story, The Terror centers on the British Royal Navy's perilous voyage into uncharted territory as the crew attempts to discover the Northwest Passage. Faced with treacherous conditions, limited resources, dwindling hope and fear of the unknown, the crew is pushed to the brink of extinction. Frozen, isolated and stuck at the end of the earth, The Terror highlights all that can go wrong when a group of men, desperate to survive, struggle not only with the elements, but with each other."
